I live in Atlanta with my wonderful wife, Kristy - we just celebrated our ninth Thanksgiving.  Kris is a profound influence on every aspect of my life, and I cherish celebrating each day with her and all the time we spend together.

I am a photographer and photoeditor with Keiko Guest Photography in Atlanta - focusing on dance studio and stage work, but also headshots,  and family and wedding gown portraits.  Kristy and I created a book of outdoor dance photography throughout 2007, now online at -

My background ranges from ballet to technical theatre, from fencing and Tae Kwon Do to inline road speed skating and ultra-marathoning, from many years in nonprofit senior services and avocational charitable work to pro-bono nonprofit consulting work and screenwriting with Kristy: we've co-authored a teen-coming-of-age comedy and have other plots in various stages of development.

Kristy is a ballet and modern dance teacher and choreographer, and she creates and sets several new pieces a year - short works to full length.  She brought be back to my roots in dance, and I work supportively with her in the studio on her choreography and on coaching partnering and technique.

Whatever we're doing, we love working and playing  together.

Our downtime is spent creating (photography, writing, choreography) and recreating together - hunting waterfalls in the north Georgia mountains, hiking, playing chess, reading, going to films, and working in coffee shops around town.

I have done a lot of work over the years in support of Athens-to-Atlanta, a major nonprofit, international speed skating ultra-marathon that I've been involved with since 1990 - have skated, volunteered, co-organized and co-directed the event - and everything in between.  We have a MySpace page and Group for the event and have several thousand skaters registered from all over the world.  The Athens-to-Atlanta MySpace (nearly 3,000 skaters from all over the world - and all aspects of skating - from inline road and track, to Olympic ice short track and artistic, to agressive street, to skate boarders and professional ice hockey players) is online at:
